How to update FW

Please note

Before updating your firmware, please be aware: Upgrading from an extremely outdated firmware to the latest may cause unforeseen issues due to outdated components. If you are unsure whether it is suitable to update the firmware yourself or if you have any product-related concerns, it is recommended to contact your local dealer or reach out to us at Contact Us to avoid potential problems caused by improper updates.
Once you understand the above information and are willing to bear the risks associated with the update, please refer to the following firmware update steps for the update process.
During the firmware update process, do not power off or interrupt the update operation, as this may cause irreparable damage. If any damage issues occur, please follow the RMA process for repair.

Step 1
Check your product model number, serial number and firmware version.

Step 2
Contact U-Reach for the appropriate FWContact U-Reach for the appropriate firmware which matches to your U-Reach product.

Step 3
Unzip the file and save the BIOS(*.bin) on the root directory of the update media.

Step 4
Insert the device to duplicator and select the function [Update System] or [Update BIOS].After update, turn off the power, then reboot the system after 5 seconds.

How to check System Number?

Step 1

For Flash duplicator, check menu and go to “ Information” >> ”System Info.”。 For Disc/HDD duplicator, check menu and go to “Utility” >> ”System Info.”
